About

Freelance Photo Restoration and Image Designer

I am a freelance Photo Restorer, and Image Designer. I specialize in restorations, taking old photographs with varying amounts of damage, and find ways to fix them to make the image look like new, and sometimes better than new. I find this work to be much like putting a puzzle together, having to spend a lot of time focusing on the details without loosing sight of the whole picture.

Previous work

My previous work is a mixture of working as a clerk; working with a cleaning company with the titles of assistant area manager, building manager, and cleaning specialist; busing tables; and working housekeeping. Those jobs did not fulfill me, and I longed for a creative job, something that would allow me to work hard, use my mind, and enjoy what I did.

Other Info About Me

I am a self taught web designer, graphic designer and photographer. I taught myself HTML from scratch, writing scripts in notepad, and learning from text books and web resources such as the W3Schools and EchoEcho.Com. I have studied at Kalamazoo Valley Community increasing my knowledge of xhtml and css using Adobe Dreamweaver(CS3 CS4 CS5). I have always had a passion for many forms of art from pencil drawings to oil painting to sculpting. This passion has crossed over to the digital medium, inspiring me to create and explore the possibilities the digital medium presents thru the use of tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (CS2 CS3 CS4 CS5). I have both taught myself and learned in a traditional classroom to mix my drawings, photography, and scripting into a piece of artwork, and pure expression.
